The need to restore Swan's Creek was identified by Prince William County Department of Public Works over seven years ago. WSSI was able to obtain an easement from Kettler and the Southbridge Community Association, Inc. (HOA) to allow Transurban and Fluor Enterprises to restore this stream as mitigation of unavoidable impacts. WSSI provided all design, permitting, survey, as well as construction inspection, monitoring and maintenance for this project. The resulting $1.5 million restoration effort is recognized as the largest stream restoration project ever completed in Prince William County.
