The Northern Virginia Concrete Advisory Council (NVCAC) and WSSI will host the 6th Annual Building Green with Concrete Workshop at WSSI's office on June 26, 2013.

This all-day event provides a great opportunity to learn about the latest in sustainable concrete design technologies, as well as the opportunity to network with industry leaders.

Topics will include:
    - Methods, impacts and opportunities in the concrete building life cycle
    - Paving 101- concrete vs. asphalt
    - Revitalizing existing asphalt pavements with concrete overlays       (whitetopping) - The architectural potential of tilt wall design—      sustainability and voluminous; wall—concrete skins and meaning
    - Effect of paving materials on building energy use and fuel consumption
