If you had a 2009 General Permit, but missed the June 30th deadline, DEQ is still accepting 2014 reissuance applications (and associated permit fees) to extend coverage under the 2009 stormwater design criteria.

SySTEMic Solutions Winners Visit WSSI

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI) welcomed the winners of the inaugural SySTEMic Solutions Engineering Challenge for 6th-7th graders, as well as their teachers and families, for their June 10th awards ceremony. SySTEMic Solutions is a Northern Virginia Community College Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) outreach program, helping students get excited about and interested in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

NC State University Presents: Bioretention Summit

NC State University is holding their annual Bioretention Summit, Sponsored by WSSI, in effort to provide up-to-date bioretention information and training for all interested parties. This event will be held from August 18th - 19th, 2014. The summit will be located at:
